We are a learning design ecosystem that connects Notre Dame and South Bend by merging research with public service. We include experts at every level of analysis: neurons, minds, digital tools, families, schools, communities, and society.

Our vision is to connect cognitive scientists and educators to expand access to high-quality learning opportunities and develop a better understanding of how people learn.

Mission:

We conduct research that advances fundamental knowledge of how people learn; empower educators through the science of learning; foster community-engaged cognitive scientists; and curate, develop, and openly share learning products and assessments that have robust evidence for accelerating learning.
